What the hell is up with the weather in New England hating on Halloween?  Last year we had a huge (for the area) snowstorm really early in the season, and now we're getting another massive storm practically a year to the day (totally different type of storm, so I guess Mother Nature frowns on repeat performances).  Oh well, c'est la vie, I just hope this isn't an indication that winter is going to follow in the footsteps of it's fore-bearer and turn into an unspeakably mild affair... and with that I conclude my inane rambling on the weather.

As far as writing stuff goes, I have a few half-completed shorts (one of which I'm way behind on, but I'll be loading onto DA in a week or so), some sort of sci-fi thing that I might try to make a bit more substantial, and then some world-building ideas that would either make for a moderately interesting concept in a fantasy story, or an awesome tabletop RPG...
